Inspirations In Ink Monthly Blog Hop - Playing In The Rain
This months featured bundle is so cute! who doesn't love little creatures on a card!
A good way to get a cute card is too keep it as monochromatic as possible, sometimes too much colour can over power a card. I chose the DSP and based my colour accordingly.

I used calypso coral card base, white layer under DSP. I then used a water painter and a calypso coral ink pad to paint a washed water coloured look on the background. Stamping the sentiment down the bottom I then layered my hearts again in calypso coral and white. All of this is topped with the die cut of the fox holding the calypso coral umbrella. How cute is he!

Thank you for stopping by today. Trish and I have created another Crazy Challenge. #15 is all about Vellum and the Stamp Set 'Harvest Meadow'. I enjoy using vellum, it is very versatile from embossing folders, alcohol inks and embossing as I have below. Head over to my Instagram Hop to get more inspiration.
As of January this year we have decided to extend our Crazy Challenges to 2 a month instead of one. Keep a watch on my Instagram for each fortnights challenge so you can play along.
You do not need to stick to one Suite. This card shows DSP, Vellum, Stamp Set an Die all from different bundles and suites. Put them together and you create your own design. Card making should be fun, and express your own style.
If you would like any of the items used in todays project head to links below. Also don't forget to head over to my Instagram post and Hop Along to receive more inspiration. If you would like any of the products featured in toady's card I have listed them below.

Another month another blog hop, boy this year is going fast! That means there are only a few weeks left of Sale-A-Brations!!! I wanted to feature the beautiful Favoured Flowers Designer Series Paper from our current Sale-a-brations! By ordering just $90AUD you receive this paper for free!
The current mini has some absolutely gorgeous items in it including the stunning Fragrant Flowers Bundle along with the cane weave embossing folder features in the above photo. This folder adds so much texture it allows me to do tone on tone and still achieve a stunning card.
The bronze embossing powder is underestimated and I am just in love. It blends in with most cards yet still gives it a pop of elegance. Finish your cards off with some ribbon or embellishments.
This is just one of many cards created in a Blog Hop this month, please go check out everyone else's and place your vote on your favourite Top 5!
If you would like any of the items featured, and craft along with me, I will list below.

Thank you for stopping by today. I struggled a little with this fortnights challenge. but we got there in the end. I wanted to try using the Layered Stripes stamp set, yet I wasn't ecstatic over the colour choices so my go to when this happens is blending all three together!
As of January this year we have decided to extend our Crazy Challenges to 2 a month instead of one and this month is a colour challenge. Pink and green always leads to florals and there are some amazing floral cards in this weeks Insta Hop (Head over here and check the out), yet I wanted to try something just a little different.
I used clear embossing for the layered lines and blended over the top in the three challenge colours. Layering on a black border and topping the amazing layered sentiment to give it a depth and pop on top!
