A little out of the comfort zone!

Today’s picture which has inspired our colour palette was chosen by Colour INKspiration Crew Member, Lou Kitzelman. The colour combination for #CI109 is Crushed Curry, Pool Party, Cinnamon Cider and Early Espresso.

I will admit Cinnamon Cider and Early Espresso are not first in my choice of colours to use but I was impressed with how much I enjoyed using them and think I will try to use them more in my future cards.

I was not sure what stamp set to use with these colours, so I pulled out those that I had not yet played with and my friends challenged me with the 'Right Behind You' stamp set. It is always fun to stamp along with friends as the can help you push yourself out of your comfort zone and get those creative juices flowing. In this case it has made me have a new found love for some products I wasn't sure about.

Its such a simple but affective card by using one stamp set and a few blends you can make such an array of colour choices and cards for all occasions. Don't be afraid to give it ago and share with use what colour combo you chose!
