#GDP329 The Global Design Colour Challenge

Welcome, thank you for stopping by my blog. I am delighted to show you this weeks blog hop with the Global Design Project.

I am excited to participate in this weeks Global Design Colour Challenge using Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness, Mango Melody!  Be sure to jump on over to the GDP blog and check out all the amazing creations using this colour combo! Feel free to create your own and join in!

This week I used the 'Oceanfront' stamp set for the majority of this card. I did use the birds from the 'On the Horizon' and the sun from 'Mountain View Air'. Sometimes just adding a touch from other stamp sets just makes a card come to life. I also gave the water a little 'Wink Of Stella', unfortunately the photo doesn't give it justice, but try it for yourself it is just beautiful. As one six year on once said... "Not every card needs a sentiment" and we tended to agree in this instance, so here we are, a sentiment free card this week.

If you would like any of todays items be sure to SHOP with me to receive your personally made Thank you Card featured in the previous blog.

Thankyou so much for stopping by, see you next time!

We really appreciate your support.

This card shows you some great techniques that can make your card stand out!

I love the shine on these cards. You can double emboss two different ways. The card featured in todays blog I embossed with the mask first, then the clear embossing powder. Otherwise you can clear emboss first then dry emboss and this will push some of the texture/colour of the card through to give it a different look again. Why not give it a go!

Thankyou so much for stopping by I really appreciate the support, please don't forget to subscribe to our newsletter. Inspiration can come from many places... mine came from my mouse pad, yep you heard right! Stampin' Up® have a beautiful mouse pad for us demonstrators and I just loved the colours, I thought they deserved to be on a card all together!

The Beautiful Dahlia Days Bundle features multiple sized flowers all with matching dies along with 3 different foliage stamps and dies to compliment. I was able to use versamark ink along with calypso coral to allow the clear embossing to give the sentiment border a real shiny pop.

Giving the background some texture helps your cards pop just a little more. I have used the new Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder to give a white background texture without taking away from the rest of the card. What better way to say thank you then to send a homemade card... what are you making?
