Another day another week! We only have 2 days left of this month and we are heading towards the end of the year! Can you believe it, where has this year gone!
Today I am taking inspiration from the below sketch. As much as I love circles I thought I would change it up as I am trying o use stamp sets I have not yet used in my collection and today it was the "Pretty Birds' Stamp Set.
My father used to breed Budgies when I was a little girl and I always thought they were just such pretty little things with such bright colours! I used our amazing alcohol blends to colour the stamped birds in and placed them around the amazing caged die in Silver Foil.
So they didn't get lost in the purple background too much i placed a circle underneath to make them pop. The cute little feathers add character to the card. This is another simple card if you like to colour in. If not you can choose to use the additional stamps in the set to colour in bodies.

Good Morning on a lovely Sunday Morning! I am happy you have stopped by to see my card today! Tis was a challenge for me this colour combination and I am not sure I used it to the best of its ability but I am still loving this card and how it turned out.
Designer Series Paper can be under used sometimes! Don't forget even if you just use the solid colour side it still looks great on a card! Instead of using solid Cajun Craze cardstock I decided to use the 'He's A Man' Designer Series Paper as it had a strip through it giving it just that bit more. To tone down the colour I added vellum which allowed me to emboss the vellum in Bronze and colour the florals in with blends.
The white underneath was a little bare so I stamped the greenery in Evening Evergreen to show through the vellum. Finished off with a little silver bling coloured in with flirty Flamingo blends to match the card and you have a pretty different but elegant card!

Today I designed a card for the SU! Colour Challenge for October. This week we were asked to take inspiration from the below picture. Using these three colours...
Basic Grey
Balmy Blue
Blushing Bride
I adore the Snowflake Vellum and fussy cutting can be relaxing while your watching TV. I layered blushing bride on Basic Grey card stock and topped with a white piece embossed using the 'Into The Cloud" Embossing Folder.
If you don't want a solid colour, blending is your answer... On my die cut circle I blended Balmy Blue focusing on the center of the circle getting lighter on the outskirts. Now just get layering and have fun with it, you could make multiple options of this card with different layered snowflakes.

G'day here in Australia on a finally Sunny Day! We have had so much rain ur lawn has been unmowable but today I finally got to mow it. I was very excited! Today I chose to do the Case-ing the Catty Tuesday #392 sketch and if any of you know me well i am not a fan of ovals that much but i forced myself to stick with an oval sentiment. The below picture is our inspiration this week!
With this card i wanted to keep it simple. The "Places In The Heart" Stamp set is so beautiful and speaks for itself. This sis a simple stamping card great for beginners! One step stamping a little gluing and that's it!
We don't have the right colours in ribbon all the time so a good way to get the colour you want is to colour a white ribbon in with our Stampin' Blends. In this case i used so saffron to match the outer layer of card stock. What a beautiful gift to any new mother even months after the baby is born to say your thinking of her and she is doing great as a new mum!
