Thank Goodness Its Friday Challenge #455 - Painted Lavender
Welcome to another blog and another challenge! Today i decided to use the sketch above from the TGIF455 Challenge and use a new product that just arrived in the mail. The Painted Lavender stamp set it so beautiful and the papers a just stunning with some of my favourite colours featured.
I kept it quite simple and stamped in just 3 colours layering the DSP closely inline with the design in the sketch. sometimes simple is best. I am still experimenting with the new hybrid embossing folder sentiments. I am not overly happy with it so if anyone has some tips i am all ears...

Thank Goodness Its Friday Challenge #455 - Painted Lavender
Welcome to another blog and another challenge! Today i decided to use the sketch above from the TGIF455 Challenge and use a new product that just arrived in the mail. The Painted Lavender stamp set it so beautiful and the papers a just stunning with some of my favourite colours featured.
I kept it quite simple and stamped in just 3 colours layering the DSP closely inline with the design in the sketch. sometimes simple is best. I am still experimenting with the new hybrid embossing folder sentiments. I am not overly happy with it so if anyone has some tips i am all ears...

I am grateful to participate in another International blog hop this January. Can you believe its another year already! I always enjoying seeing creative minds create the most beautiful cards. This month is no exception, don't forget to hop along and check out everyone else's creations and vote for your top 5.
This month I tried to create a fun fold i hadn't made before. Like any fun fold it takes me a minute to work out the measurements, and i add a lot of scraps to my pile from all the failed attempts LOL. Yet the main thing is we have fun trying and the end result is always worth it!
I enjoy the 'It's A Science' stamp set! it leans to bright colour and quirky content! By using the white embossing powder on the black background it made al the scientific pictures pop! and the bright test tubes and beacons pop because of the neutral background.
A belly band is a great addition to many fun fold, it can just put the finishing touches on the card and help secure it shut if it is struggling to stay closed. Have you tried any fun folds lately?
This particular fun fold is called the angled gatefold and it actually is quite simple once you have the measurements down pat.
Make sure you head over and check out all the other amazing cards that have been made this month and vote or your top 5, i am sure i should be in there somewhere lol, but seriously there are always so many amazing designs from amazing demonstrators so go and check them out for inspiration.

I am excited to be using Sale-a-brations items again! Can you believe it is another Year another Sale-a-brations! Here is a sneak peak at some of the items you could earn! Make sure you follow the links below to gain some inspiration on how to use your Sale-a-bration Items this January!
I love the brightness of this card! the jungle creatures inspired fun and a tropical feel. I used both blending methods. Using Lemon Lolly & Flirty Flamingo i created the background with our amazing blending brushes. I then used blends to colour in the die cut greenery and animals, i used way to many colours to name here but have a play and find the colours you love.
Our stamp and write markers are great you can create cute little borders like i have here in any of our 50 colours! If you have a steady hand you can draw just about anything. These markers have both a thick tip and thin tip end for endless possibilities.
