Thank Goodness Its Friday Challenge - Cottage Rose

Today I designed a card for the Thank Goodness Its Friday Challenge #TGIF390. This week we were asked to take inspiration from the below picture. I wanted to use some of the Abigail Rose paper and found one that I really like!

I embossed the white background using the Timber embossing folder and layered with the Abigail Rose DSP. I wont lie I did not see the scalloping in the above picture, I missed that extra detail but we have a multitude of edging dies that would have been perfect.

I double layered the ribbons to give a beautiful soft touch of colour to a neutral card and to compliment the Rose I coloured using the Water Painter and Polished Pink Ink. Its a little loud for my liking but I think it all turned out in the end.
