Kylie Bertucci's April Blog Hop - Thankyou

April 6, 2021

I am so very excited to be participating in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Hop event for April. We want to say Thankyou to all those in our lives that keep us going everyday and show us such loving support in what we do and who we are as individuals.

I loved making this card as it not only brought a little sunshine with the array of colour but who can't smile from some a few Sunflowers in their lives? It may be subtle but this card features a lot of texture which gives us that added sense of warmth when opening the envelope.

I have used a card base of 'Misty Moonlight' with a thin border of 'Poppy Parade' balanced out by 'Basic White' card stock embossed using our 'Tasteful texture' embossing folder. I had fun with our 'Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine' being able to cut the 'Sunflower' Dies out allowing the 'Flowers For Every Season' Designer Paper to peep through and show its true beauty.

Don't forget those insides! It is very important to keep the smiles coming inside.
Once you start with one card you just have to make more... This paper deserved an army of cards lined around the block to give that cheerful smile some of us have needed this past year.

I hope this picture can give you even a glimpse at the texture that I tried to achieve in this card. I find having that special someone to say thank you too in mind really helps you push the boundaries and have a little more fun with  your cards. I was able to add just a touch of difference by using the 'Stampin Write Markers' to give the sentiment an extra lift of tone on tone. Balanced with a velum back ground and fussy cut to size I feel it just topped of this card just nicely.

If you would like to support me on this blog hop journey I would love to have you vote http://bit.ly/VoteForMeApril2021 Thank you for all your support and stay tuned for many more cards to come in the near future.
